The Edge Protection Federation
exists to provide the industry with a single, authoritative body to act as
a representative voice and ensure that high standards in manufacture,
supply and application of edge protection systems are maintained and
advanced.
With increased emphasis on working at height and other
areas of health and safety, the federation aims to offer a forum for the
discussion of industry issues, liaison with governmental and other bodies
involved in legislation and regulation across the construction industry,
guidance on all developments that affect the industry sector, and training
programmes and publications relevant to the industry.
