Formed in 2003, the AIF is the umbrella organisation for all those trade bodies and associations involved in the access industry. Committed to advancing safety and best practice, it is the collective voice of the industry and brings together those organisations with an interest in all types of scaffolding and cradles, rope access, ladders and powered access.

The AIF liaised closely with the HSE during the development of the 2005 Work at Height Regulations and more recently has collaborated with the HSE in developing and supporting the HSE’s innovative Work at Height Solutions database.
