The Ladder Association promotes and
champions the ladder as an invaluable piece of workplace equipment and is
the only trade body dedicated to providing users with the information and
skills they need to use ladders and stepladders safely and productively.
Working in collaboration with manufacturers, suppliers,
key influencers and policy makers, including the Health & Safety Executive
(HSE), the association uses the collective experience and expertise of its
many members to fulfil a number of key roles.
As a knowledge provider and resource centre, its
safety-related publications, products and website cover all aspects of
safety and best practice, and its training courses deliver confidence and
competence as required by the Work at Height Regulations. In addition,
specialist committees contribute to the setting of both national and
European standards
As stated in the association’s latest LadderBook and its
new Code of Practice: If it’s right to use a ladder, use the right ladder
and get trained to use it safely.
