The acknowledged expert in this
specialist sector, SAEMA is dedicated to maintaining and, wherever
possible, advancing standards for equipment and systems used to provide
façade access. Its members strive to provide safe places of work for those
tradesmen who are involved in working at height to install and maintain
façades.
Liaising closely with other specialist and
standards-setting bodies, including the regulatory authorities, it
participates in the development of national and international standards
and is actively engaged in all aspects of the design, manufacture,
installation, maintenance and inspection of façade access equipment and
systems.
SAEMA members are serious, professional companies
designing and providing access equipment to meet specific criteria,
primarily for cleaning and maintenance purposes. Their equipment can be
either permanently installed - for the lifetime of a building or bridge -
or temporarily installed for the construction phase of a project or the on
going maintenance of buildings or structures.
